Service Technician


We are currently seeking service technicians with strong mechanical skills. The successful candidate will work out of town in a camp setting on a rotation schedule and spend time working from our yard/shop in Acheson, Ab.

Applicants must be mechanically inclined and will hold a valid driver’s license, be a team player, communicate well with clients and team members and be dependable. A pre-screening Drug and Alcohol test may be required.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Responsibilities

-Troubleshooting, repair, testing, start-up, maintenance and installation of wastewater treatment facilities and collection systems
-Operate and maintain company assets and equipment without direct supervision.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     -Ensure regulatory compliance in accordance with Provincial and/or local Regulations.
-Submit work orders to customers for billing purposes.
-Enter daily operational data and sample results into daily tracking forms.
-Assist with material take-offs and job estimating.
-Complete all required daily HSE documents including FLRA’s, JSA’s, and vehicle/equipment inspections.
-Manage plant consumable and required materials.
-Establish and maintain customer relations


Qualifications

-High school diploma
-Min 3 years experience within relevant industry
-Minimum 2nd year Apprentice Plumber in the province of Alberta
-Alberta Journeymen or Red Seal Plumber (Preferred)
-Alberta Level I(or higher) AWWOA Certification in Waste Collection or Treatment (Preferred)
-Alberta Private Sewage Systems Certification (Preferred)
-Experience working with Oil & Gas, OH&S programs and processes
-Must have strong computer, communication and organizational skills
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
-Ability to work effectively with team members
-Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. frequently.
-Great problem solving skills
-Strong organizational skills
-Legally able to work in Canada
